The Scott Family Amazeum exists to make authentic learning experiences accessible to a curious, creative community by creating an environment for everyone to play, explore, discover, wonder and learn.
We are excited to host ReggioBaby founder Elysia Contreras Springer as they open a pop-up shop featuring their beautiful handcrafted sensory toys. These products have moved beyond the infant and toddler classroom, and have shown that they provide beneficial sensory feedback for people of all ages and stages!
Say hello to our marketing and communications intern Diya. Diya is spending part of her time at the Amazeum this summer documenting activities that ignite creativity, and curiosity. Follow along as she shares her Amazeum adventures.
Have you ever met someone so overflowing with creativity that you wonder what they’re going to think up next? Maxi Dominguez, artist, entrepreneur, community activist and Amazeum Maker in Residence is one of those people. Maxi joined the Amazeum team for a residency to facilitate screen printing sessions for adults and teens and brought with him a diverse perspective on the importance of creative thought and action to impact individuals and communities.
Hands-on internships are part of the summer experience at the Amazeum. College students interested in education professions intern at the Amazeum to discover new methods and techniques as well as experience the power and possibilities of providing students with learning activities grounded in making and tinkering.
Hey everyone! I am a senior at John Brown University studying Family and Human Services. This summer, I am super excited to be expanding my skill set by working with the Scott Family Amazeum as the Early Childhood Intern!
