Homeschool Days

Homeschool Days are the perfect addition to any homeschool curriculum! There are two ways to attend Homeschool Day: by booking your very own Unfield Trip visit to the Amazeum, or by exploring on your own. Only homeschoolers will be able to reserve Unfield Trips on Homeschool Days, so this is another great way to have fun and meet other homeschool families and students! Advanced registration is required. For more information, check out the Homeschool Days Frequently Asked Questions.

Mark your calendar for future Homeschool Days: November 5, 2020; January 11, 2021; and March 1, 2021.

Homeschool Adventures

Join our new 4-week series, Homeschool Adventures! In this child drop-off program, each weekly experience explores concepts of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) through creative, hands-on explorations. During each series, we scaffold our adventures from week to week, adding a deep-dive, interactive component/experience to your homeschool curriculum.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are providing multiple options for Homeschool Adventures: virtual and in-person at the Amazeum.

Virtual:  Homeschoolers will engage in a variety of unique, hands-on STEAM challenges and experiences from their homes. Materials for activities will be provided in kits. Kits can be picked up a week in advance. During the workshop, an Amazeum educator will lead the Homeschoolers through activities via Zoom video call.

In-Person: Workshops will happen at the Amazeum on a series of Mondays at 9:30-11:30am. Workshops will have a reduced capacity of 10 Homeschool students and 2 Amazeum Educators per workshop. Homeschoolers and Educators will be required to wear face coverings during the workshop. Homeschoolers will be given a kit which will include all supplies needed to complete their discoveries – no sharing required! After the program, Amazeum educators will clean and sanitize the kits. For more information, check out the Homeschool Adventures FAQ sheet

Advanced registration and payment required. Registration links available soon in chart below.

Fee per Homeschooler: $60 Amazeum members/$70 nonmembers

Each Homeschool Adventures series is designed for ages 6-11.
