The Scott Family Amazeum believes children are naturally curious and have a built-in drive to ask questions. Our Early Learner programs create a play environment that allows for young children (and their caregiver) to engage their natural curiosity, build on skills they already have, and take on new challenges.
Studio Grow is designed just for early learners six years and younger and their families. Studio Grow's 1,000 square feet of interactive exhibit space contains hands-on, playful, open-ended, child-led activities that are a perfect fit for kiddos and caregivers. In order to create a safe, healthy, interactive learning experience, the Amazeum's safety requirements apply while exploring Studio Grow.
Check back often or follow @amazeum on social media and stay informed about Studio Grow!
Unable to visit Studio Grow in person? Bring Studio Grow to your house with Play Kits! Inside each Play Kit box, the Amazeum's Early Learner team has carefully crafted activities and supplies for children and their caregiver to explore the world of STEAM. From creativity with color to mixology with household tools, it's a journey to the developmental world of early childhood, but with our Amazeum classic flair. We've developed a kit for three levels: ages 0-18 months, 18 months-3 years, and 3-6 years. Kits can be purchased at the Amazeum's Curiosity Corner, online or in-person. Call 479-696-9280 x6 for curbside service.
Partners in Play is designed especially for children ages 6 and younger to explore, play and discover with their adult caregiver. Partners in Play is a drop-in program that embraces children's natural curiosity and develops an interest in science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM). Be curious and investigate together as play partners!
To foster a safe and healthy play experience, a limited number of individualized Play Baskets are available during Partners in Play program times at the entrance of Studio Grow. An Amazeum educator will give you a Play Basket based upon your child's age. You and your early learner can explore the Play Basket together as a fun way to enhance your Studio Grow experience. Play Baskets include all the supplies needed to complete your discoveries- no sharing required! Once you are done exploring, return the Play Basket to an Amazeum educator. We will clean and sanitize each Play Basket.
Monthly themes build your child's sense of wonder and playfulness as you engage together in curiosity and hands-on discovery. Upcoming theme: Hard Hats & Play Mats!
Partners in Play is included in daily admission and Amazeum membership. No additional fee or registration necessary to participate.
Limited number of Play Baskets for Partners in Play are available during the 9:00-11:00 am time block session on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays.
Little Tinkers family workshops in the 3M Tinkering Hub invite adults and children to be innovative thinkers and problem-solvers as they work together creating, building, and trying new things. Creativity flows as you and your early learner explore tools and tinker with materials. A new theme is explored the 2nd Saturday each month.
