UnGala returned in 2021 as a hybrid on-site and virtual event marking the return of in-person adult events at the Scott Family Amazeum.
Unique, interactive experiences inside and outside the Amazeum provided opportunities for grown-ups to give their inner children a day out to play and make it possible for families across the region to access Amazeum-style learning at a reduced cost.
Each year, the UnGala features a large-scale, interactive experience for the event. Impulse, an installation of 12 sound- and light-enabled seesaws created by Lateral Office and CS Design from Toronto, and produced by Quartier des Spectacles Partnership in Montreal created an ever-changing symphony of play during the event.
UnGala features NWA's only 24-volt corporate challenge race where drivers compete on modified children's ride-on vehicles and battle for the coveted Zing Cup.

The UnGala brings a signature experience to the NWA community each year. Created by world-renowned makers and artists, each experience demonstrates the possibilities at the intersection of the arts and sciences, and creativity and curiosity.
