Educator Night Out: Creating Belonging through STEAM, is a night for educators to come explore the Amazeum, participate in rich and interactive professional development sessions, and network with other educators! During this event, the Amazeum is open only for educators to play, explore, make connections between their educational settings and the Amazeum, and visit the Amazeum’s gift store, the Curiosity Corner. Sessions for this night are led by local educators and organizations to provide perspectives on creating belonging through STEAM.

ADE and PDR credit are available, and we are excited to announce that the Amazeum is providing food and drink during the event!

This is an in-person event at the Amazeum designed for Educators from formal settings (Pre-K through 12) and informal settings (out-of-school time providers).

Her favorite books respectfully portray children as the competent, brave, and resourceful human beings they are, with words to match. Chloe loves visiting school classrooms and libraries to read her books and share the art of visual storytelling!

Inclusive Visual Storytelling with Illustrator Chloe Burgett
Hear the exciting story of how books are published and the illustrator's unique role in a book's creation. Participants will be challenged to get curious about window books and the beautiful view they provide into other's experiences.
