Membership FAQs

How long does a Membership last?

Your membership is active until the last day of the month one year from the date you join, i.e. if you join January 1, 2021, it will not expire until January 31, 2022. Don't worry! We will send reminders when it's time to renew your membership.


Can I apply my General Admission tickets to the cost of a membership?

Yes! Visit Guest Services in the museum lobby before you leave or call the Membership Office (479-696-9280 ext. 202) within one week of your visit to apply a portion or all of your General Admission tickets towards your membership. Please note that we can only apply the tickets from your most recent visit. 

You may apply the number of general admission tickets that matches the level of membership you would like to purchase. For example, if you purchase 5 General Admission tickets and purchase a 4 person Family level membership, you may only apply 4 of the tickets to the cost of a membership.


Do you sell gift memberships?

What a great gift!  You can purchase these online or onsite and you can designate if we are mailing the membership package to you or the recipient. 


Do I need to reserve tickets to the Amazeum before I arrive?

In order to guarantee entry, we encourage all members to reserve tickets prior to their visit online or by calling (479) 696-9280 (press 0).


What do I need to bring with me when I visit?  

Please have your membership card and a photo ID available at check-in. If you have not yet received your membership card, we can check you in with your member ID and a Photo ID.


When will I receive my membership card?

After you purchase your membership, one physical membership card will be mailed to you within two to three weeks. Everyone on your membership can also download digital membership cards. Remember, there is no need to wait for your card to visit. 


What is a Guest Pass? 

A Guest Pass is a complimentary benefit for Premier Family and contributing memberships that allow you to bring one guest per visit OR allows a babysitter (18 or over) to accompany your children. Guests need to check in with and be accompanied by a member.


Can my children visit without an adult?

Children need an adult, 18 or over, to come and play.


Can my children use my membership to visit with an adult that is not listed on the membership?

Children can use their membership benefits by checking in with their Member ID #. Non-members visiting with the children will need to pay general admission. Premier and higher membership levels can use their guest pass once per visit instead of paying for extra guests.


Can I put the membership in my child's name?

Membership cardholders must be at least 18 years old.

Who should I list on my membership?

You may list family members, grandparents, parents, and children, up to the number in your membership level, i.e. the members named on your membership are the family members able to use this membership.  The Primary and Secondary Adult Card Holders own the membership and are able to request changes and information concerning the membership.


What about babies and children under the age of two?

Children 23 months and younger will be admitted at no charge and do not need to be listed on your membership - you will not need to add them to your membership until it's time to renew and they've turned two.


Do you have membership levels just for Grandparents?

Grandparents are welcome to join in on any level of membership. A membership can list an assortment of grandparents, parents, and children, up to the number in your membership level. 


How can I update my contact information?

You can edit your mailing address, phone number, and email address by clicking Edit Account Information on the My Account page. Please contact the Membership Team if you have questions about the names listed on your membership ( or (479) 696-9290 extension 202).


Can I upgrade my membership to a higher level?

Yes! You have two options to choose from:

  1. Pay the difference between your current membership level and your desired membership level. Your upgrade will go into effect right away, but your membership’s expiration date will not change.
  2. Renew your membership early and pay full price for the higher membership level. Not only will this add another 12 months to your existing membership, but it will also give you the benefits of the higher membership level for the remainder of your current membership year.

Can I share a membership with my friend or other family members?

Memberships are non-transferable and are meant to be used by your family. The Amazeum is a nonprofit and depends on membership and admission support to continue providing an amazing experience for our community.  We appreciate your support and understanding.


How do I register early for camps and workshops?

Links to access early registration for upcoming programs are emailed out in our monthly Member Newsletter. Let us know if you are not receiving these updates.


Can I use my Amazeum membership at other museums?

Yes! Your Amazeum membership can be used at more than 300 museums around the world. Click here to learn more about your reciprocal benefits


My family is moving, can I give my membership to someone else?

While memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable, you can continue to use your reciprocal benefits for the remainder of your membership year.
