Join Amazeum team members and the Co-op’s Elementary STEM Specialist for a day of hands-on activities, collaborative discussions, and reflective exercises designed to deepen one’s understanding of the K-4 science standards, teach using phenomena, and help students make sense of their learning. Participants will leave equipped with the knowledge and skills to inspire their students to be curious about the world around them as well as resources they can use in their classrooms. This session will be fun, engaging and an opportunity to build confidence about teaching science in the K-4 classroom. 

  • Personal, hands-on science experiences 
  • Coaching and facilitation from Amazeum and NWAESC's professional development teams 
  • Roundtable discussions to reflect on your experiences 
  • Networking and skill swapping with AR educators
  • Take home materials and resources
  • 6 hours of ADE credit
  • Lunch will be provided
