we can do for Northwest Arkansas. You told us about unmet needs we can serve, highlighted opportunities for an increasingly diverse population, and requested that we consider expanding access to STEAM experiences.
 We heard you. That's why I'm excited to share the EXP&ING Futures campaign with you. A campaign to grow the Amazeum’s capacity to fulfill its mission by embracing where we are today, and responding with, “Yes, &...”

“It really opened my mind to a ton of different career options.”

Yes, this is Jaseela, a recent high school graduate. Jaseela’s curiosity led her to participate in the inaugural MakeHer Squad at the Amazeum where she made her idea for an aquarium coffee table a reality with the support of the Amazeum's creative team. She credits her experience with helping her develop critical thinking and problem solving skills.

 &, She discovered the intrinsic value of making as a process that not only hones life-long skills, but also enriches life by providing a creative outlet and connecting the community.

Yes, this is Canon, a University of Arkansas College student majoring in computer science. Canon loves robots – designing, building and programming them. Canon spends much of his time thinking about how robotics can better people’s lives. Canon is the co-founder of MORE Technologies, the creator of MOREbot which gives students the flexibility to design their own robot.

 &, Canon believes Amazeum has and will continue to give students like him the opportunity to experience that “ah-ha” moments of discovery that spark a lifetime passion for STEAM learning that transforms to a career they will love.

YOUR GIFT WILL SUPPORT

The expansion project will encompass approximately 34,740 square feet of new construction. This includes 11,850 square feet for The Hangout and Early Childhood Learning Center building, 17,390 square feet for The Porch and surrounding landscape area, and an estimated 5,500 square feet dedicated to the interactive nature exhibits that will make up The Backyard.
