Meet Nicholas Burdolski
Why did you choose the Amazeum for your internship?
Hello! My name is Nicholas and I am a junior at the University of Arkansas studying biomedical engineering. At the U of A, I am on the Razorback Marching Band where I play bass drum, and am involved in undergraduate student research. In my free time I love to drum, go on hikes with my roommates or spend time with my friends! I became interested in the internship here at the Amazeum because it is the same sort of thing I used to do as a kid during the summer. Every summer, I would be signed up for any art or science camp my mom could find. It not only helped me ask questions and think a little deeper, but also grew my passion for designing, tinkering and engineering and paved the way to where I am now as an engineering student. It has been my biggest goal this summer to try to pass some of my knowledge and interest along, just as the camp educators did for me when I was a kid.
