Pow! Bam! The Scott Family Amazeum invites all homeschool organizations and families to our 3-part superhero series: Superhero Science. This series explores hands-on STEAM focused adventures to give every child the power of exploration and discovery. Each Homeschool Day features different STEAM activities to challenge your young superheroes to design, imagine, and problem solve. Superhero Science Homeschool Days will be on October 30, 2017, December 7, 2017 and April 26, 2018.
A superhero is not complete without the cape! Each child will receive a cape and badge to wear as they use their STEAM super-skills. Join us each Homeschool Day to collect all the badges! Superhero Science is included in paid daily admission, Unfield Trip admission, and membership.
Homeschool Days are the perfect addition to any homeschool curriculum! There are two ways to attend Homeschool Day: by booking your very own Unfield Trip visit to the Amazeum, or by exploring on your own. Only homeschoolers will be able to reserve Unfield Trips, Hershey's Lab workshops, or Amazeum AIR (Amaze, Investigate, Relate) on Homeschool Days, so this is another great way to have fun and meet other homeschool families and students! Advanced registration is required for Unfield Trips and extra programs.
The Amazeum wants to hear from you directly about how we can serve you and the Homeschool community better. Your voices, ideas, and suggestions for programming, and other ways that the Amazeum can be a resource for you are very important to us. Please send your ideas to firstname.lastname@example.org.
New program for homeschool students: Mini Camps! Homeschool Mini Camps foster new curiosities and discoveries about the world around us as we use science as a tool for exploring that world. In these child drop-off camps, campers explore the concepts of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) through creative, hands-on explorations. Only homeschool students are able to join these camps, so it is another great way to meet with homeschool students in the area. Check out the Mini Camp Frequently Asked Questions. Additional camp dates will be announced soon. Be sure to check out Amazeum's Summer Camps!
