Sam Dean’s Vision
In reflecting on his new role, Dean shared his belief in the unique power of science centers and museums:
“I believe science centers and museums are some of the most joyful places on earth – they remind us that curiosity is contagious and creativity is abundant. Serving as Chair-Elect of the ASTC Board is a chance to celebrate and support the amazing work of this global community of dreamers, doers, and wonder-makers.”
Dean will serve alongside a distinguished group of leaders in the science and museum fields, including newly elected Chair Erin Graham, President and CEO of the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI), and colleagues representing institutions from across the United States and around the world.
Why This Matters
