Tina Ayres introduces you to one of the most useful simple machines you'll need to fasten or unfasten many different materials.

Take close look at collection of screws, what do you notice about them? 

Find things in your house that are screwed or bolted together? Why do you think screws were used to fasten these items? 

What other tools can you find in your house? Try to figure out their purpose.
