The Scott Family Amazeum believes children are naturally curious and have a built-in drive to ask questions. Our Early Learner programs create a play environment that allows for young children to use that natural curiosity to build on top of skills they already have, to feel success, and take on new challenges. Come ready to engage with your kiddo, develop new skills, and connect with others! One adult caregiver must attend and participate in all aspects of the child’s Early Learner program experience. Advanced registration and payment required.

The Make-It-Yourself workshop experience is designed as a family workshop exploration driven by the child’s natural interest and curiosity about the world around them.  Workshops focus on making things with real materials including opportunities for tool usage and open-ended activities that emphasizes process over product. Make-It-Yourself workshops are family workshops for children ages 3-6 years and one adult caregiver. We recommend no more than 3 children per adult. A new topic is explored each session at 10-11:30 am.

STEAM Studio
Families with children 6 years and under can explore, play and discover together in the STEAM Studio. The Early Learner STEAM Studio embraces children's natural curiosity and develops an interest in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). Learning becomes deeper and longer lasting when everyday play experiences include a caring adult. Studio activities are designed with children aged 2 to 6 in mind, but mixed-age family groups with children 6 and under are welcome to come in and play and stay together. STEAM Studio frequently changes location and may be dependent on weather conditions, please ask guest services for location upon entering the Amazeum. No registration is required. Fees are included in paid daily admission or membership. Check the calendar  for upcoming STEAM Studio dates!
